NASA's ASTRO CAMP Scholarship Opportunities

All 2022 Astro Camp scholarships have been granted at this time.

We are excited to announce that the Children's Museum of St. Tammany has been selected as a 2021-2022 Fore!Kids Foundation Community Charity Grant Recipient. The funds awarded from this grant will allow twenty-one students within our community the opportunity to attend a one-week camp during the summer session of NASA's Astro Camp facilitated at the Children's Museum in collaboration with NASA's John C. Stennis Space Center. The one week sessions that are available for application are:

• June 13 - 17, 2022
• July 11 - 15, 2022 
• August 1 - 4, 2022
 

Parents/Guardians of a child entering the 2nd-5th grades in the 2022/2023 school year and meeting the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply for a $250 Camp Scholarship for NASA’s Astro Camp facilitated at the Children’s  Museum of St. Tammany. Scholarships for this camp were made possible through a grant by the Fore!Kids Foundation.  Scholarships are granted by need on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to one per camper. The application must be signed by the camper's current school Principal, Assistant Principal, or School Guidance Counselor as proof that they meet the eligibility requirements.  The application deadline is May 20, 2022.

Who is Eligible?
 
Camper must:
· Be entering the grades 2nd-5th for the 2022/2023 school year.
 
And also meet one of the following requirements:
· Enrolled in a Title 1 school or
· Enrolled in a free/reduced lunch program or
· Enrolled in the KIT Program (Kids in Transition) or
· Youth in Foster Care
