Announcing - Joshua B. Wichterich - Chalk Fest 2022 Featured Artist

The Children's Museum of St. Tammany is excited to announce Joshua B. Wichterich as this year's Chalk Fest Featured Artist.

Joshua B. Wichterich is an award-winning children’s book illustrator and author from Slidell Louisiana, having worked on 60+ children’s books. Joshua’s art and illustrations have been featured in local exhibits, online galleries, online magazines, apparel, theater posters for Slidell Little Theatre’, and on the cover of Slidell Magazine. Joshua continues in Fine Art, developing his art series’, Art From The Soul and The Red-Haired Girl, which contains a prize-winning piece that was featured in the Mixed Media exhibition at City Hall in Slidell. Being an illustrator and author, Joshua has always had a love for books and the production of books, especially helping authors publish their books for the first time. Joshua has designed and helped self-publish many children’s books, going by the name Blue Wing Press. Joshua also recently received a 5-star reward from Readers’ Favorite for his epic fantasy book Chronicles of The Last Legend. Cash prizes are up for grabs in eight categories. All ages are encouraged to participate.
