Our four-year-old son loves this place so much that he went 3 times in one week and had a blast each time. I loved their reading time they have several times a day as well. Kate N.

My 2-year-old loves the interactive play stations at the new children's museum in Mandeville. It is the perfect blend of art, fun, and education. I highly recommend it for your young children.

Meet our 2018 Celebration Chairs: Sara and Thomas DanielIntroducing Thomas and Sara Baumgartner Daniel, 2018 Chairs of Celebration: The Power of Play!

Sara Baumgartner Daniel is a native of Mandeville. She and her husband Thomas, and daughters Libba (10) and Annie (6) moved back to the Northshore three years ago from Pensacola, Florida. Sara is a former journalist and fundraiser and now works as a realtor with RE/MAX Alliance. Thomas is a national client manager for Pensacola, Florida based company IMS Expert Services.

Sara and Thomas are excited to be back home and witness the tremendous growth on the Northshore. “We are especially appreciative of the opportunities that the newly opened children's museum is creating for children and families--art and culture right here in our own backyard,” comments Sara Daniel. “We come from a family of educators and are strong supporters of art education and STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) programs. At our first visit to the museum, our family experienced the power of play. Both of our girls were hooked on the ARTworks and How & Why (STEM exhibits), and we had a hard time getting them to leave!" The Daniels are very excited to be working on behalf of the museum, not just because of the tangible benefits it will provide to their children, but to so many others...for years to come!

They are parishioners at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic School where their daughters attend school. Both daughters are involved in their school, dance and competitive soccer at Mandeville Soccer Club.
