We know that children need play now more than ever. We are thrilled to announce that the Children's Museum of St. Tammany is reopening our doors on June 20, with summer camps beginning on June 29! Our team has been working hard to ensure that we are ready to welcome you to the Museum. We can’t wait to see the smiling faces and hear the laughter of curious kids in the Museum once again!
We are following the guidelines established by the Governor, we have consulted with pediatricians and infectious disease doctors. We have reviewed protocol from other children's museums around the world and particularly the children's museums in our state. We have new disinfection procedures in an effort to provide a safe and healthy creative space for you to enjoy such as modified operations, physical distancing, exhibit modification, contactless interactions, PPE, and best practices in hygiene and handwashing.
Our entrance process and galleries will be different. We have designed your experience to include social distancing and will be opening initially at a reduced capacity. We will not be accepting walk-ins during this time. You will need to register through our CMST Store for admission to the Museum. Tickets are on sale NOW! Museum Members will continue to enjoy free admission but must reserve an entry time in advance by calling the Museum at 985.888.1555.
Our mission has and will continue to be to provide all children a place where creativity, imagination, exploration, and discovery are nurtured.
We can’t wait to see you at the Museum!
