First annual Mardi Gras Parade
Join us for the Children's Museum of St. Tammany's Mardi Gras Celebration and the first annual CMST Kids Krewe Parade!
Monday, February 28th, 10:00AM-12:00PM. The Museum will close after the event.
Mayor Clay Madden and his family will lead the parade as the Grand Marshall.
Guests to the event will have the opportunity to participate in Mardi Gras-themed activities and meet the Krewe of Eve's royalty.
We will also have special guest reader, author, and local teacher, Melissa Thibault, join us for storytime as she reads her book The 12 Days of Mardi Gras.
Admission to the Museum is $8.00 per person over the age of 12 months. There is no fee for parade viewing.
At Noon, the wagon float parade will roll down the Tammany Trace and around the Museum's campus. Registration is $10.00 per float (non-Museum Member) and free for Museum Members. Registration information and official rules and deadlines can be found here.
