Museum Planning Begins Again

August 01, 2006

After a year-long recovery from Hurricane Katrina, JLGC members began to work again on the Museum Project.  Committees were formed within the JLGC, and talks with Parish and State leaders launched a new effort for the Museum.  It was estimated that due to Hurricane Katrina, the population of St. Tammany increased from 217,400 to 231,500, and the new residents were many families with young children.
